Who pays the shipping charges?

Customers within the 48 continental United States do not pay shipping charges for standard ground shipping. Shipping charges will be incurred when requesting expedited delivery.

 
 

Question 02

How can I get butterfly valves that are not listed in the catalog?

First, verify with Customer Service/Customer Care Center, that the product is not setup in the system. There are some products, namely 14" and 16" valves, which are not listed in the catalog, but are setup in the system. Once it is verified that the part is not available as a standard, please contact Jamie Bargenquast (ext. 6558) to begin the process of ordering special product.

How do I return excess material?*

You should contact Customer Service/Customer Care Center to get a Return Material Authorization # (RMA) and shipping instructions. There will be a minimum 25% restocking charge.

*If the material was originally ordered through a local branch, the return of the material must also be handled through that branch.

Question 06

How can I tell if the butterfly valve is using a Siemens actuator?

In the part number configuration of the butterfly valve, places 8 & 9 identify the actuator. If place 8 is a G, then the actuator is a Siemens OpenAir actuator. If there is an S2 in these spots, a Siemens (Powers) 6" pneumatic actuator will be used on 8" and smaller 2-way valves and 6" and smaller 3-way valves.

Look in the Engineering section of the Siemens HVAC Products Catalog (144-001).

 
 

Question 08

Can I get a butterfly valve with manual override?

This is a standard feature of the electric actuators. It is not standard for pneumatics, but it is available.
