Sygnal Inside

Sygnal Inside: Sygnal is a highly adaptable system that can use

Sygnal is a highly adaptable system that can use existing LAN infrastructure, as well as existing voice systems (such as fire-alarm voice evacuation systems), other emergency voice-evacuation systems or voice-paging systems.

Inside buildings, Sygnal mass notification increases the capacity to establish contact. With a Sygnal system, people in every area of the facility or campus are near a potential point of contact in times of emergency. Electronic signage, desktop PCs, telephones and paging systems communicate emergency messages, allowing organizations to disseminate critical information to thousands of personnel – regardless of location – within seconds.

Sygnal also uses intrusive messaging to ensure receipt. In the case of a message sent to a networked computer, a scrolling message is displayed in a separate window that cannot be closed until the emergency message is terminated by the sender.

A key “inside” component is the fire-alarm and voice-evacuation infrastructure. By integrating Sygnal mass notification with an existing fire-alarm and voice-evacuation system it is possible to leverage the built-in survivability, as well as battery backup, inherent in these highly reliable systems. The constant circuit supervision can identify problems with horns, speakers, signs and other devices to help maintain the operating efficiency of the notification system.
