Siemens Appoints Carey Boethel Vice President, Business Unit Head For Security Solutions U.S.

Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., announced today it has appointed Carey Boethel to lead the company’s Security Solutions (SES) Business Unit. As the Vice President Business Unit Head for Security in the U.S., Boethel will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, as well as the financial and competitive success of this strategically important and profitable segment of the company’s overall building systems portfolio.

An industry veteran, Boethel brings to his new post more than 16 years of hands-on security sales, operations, executive management and consulting experience. Boethel joined Siemens Building Technologies last year as Senior Director, Business Development.Prior to joining Siemens, Boethel held five years of increasingly responsible positions with Kroll, Inc., a prominent security consultancy later acquired by Marsh and McLennan. Preceding that, Boethel was division vice president for Houston-based NetVersant Solutions, Inc., where he held leadership and P&L responsibility for the company’s Electronic Security Systems business unit.
