SIEMENS HIRES DAN WEISS – AN EXPERT IN CFATS

Siemens Industry, Inc., Building Technologies Division, announced today that Dan Weiss has been appointed Sales Manager and will reside in the Houston area.             

Weiss is an innovator in creating organic client development in the industry. Highlights from his career include founding three security startup companies, managing a design and estimation staff with annual production of more than $50 million, and designing security and life safety systems for Fortune 1000 companies, public critical infrastructure and federal, state and local governments. He is recognized as a national leader in petro-chemical security, including CFATS, and other regulated private sectors. Previous to his appointment, he was the CEO and president of Infrastruct Security, Inc. Other recent positions include president of both General Cabling and Security, Inc., and EPS Security and Life Safety Systems, Inc. Weiss earned his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin.            

Weiss will manage the security sales team in the Houston area, as well as join forces with our newly formed Integrated Security Solutions team to drive market share in the Oil & Gas market, serving as the CFATS expert and leveraging his strong relationships in this industry.
