Siemens Appoints Jennifer Olmstead Vice President of Human Resources for Building Technologies Business in U.S.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL, Thursday, May 25, 2006

Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., has appointed Jennifer Olmstead to Vice President of Human Resources for the company’s U.S. operations. She replaces Fred Cardina who will be splitting his time between Siemens Building Technologies and a new assignment with Siemens Corporation developing HR services and support programs for all Siemens U.S. operating companies.

Since joining Siemens Building Technologies in August, 2000, Olmstead has held various HR management positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to her appointment, she directed the HR practices for the company’s western region and was a key contributor in areas of change management and strategically aligned performance measurements for employees. Prior to joining Siemens, Olmstead served in HR management positions at Grubb & Ellis and Ameritech.

Olmstead earned a bachelor’s degree in management from Saint Mary’s University in Winona, Minn..
