Siemens Signs Agreement to Acquire Site Controls, LLC

Siemens Industry, Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire Site Controls, LLC, a company based in Austin, Texas, that offers enterprise-wide energy management solutions for multi-site commercial businesses. Site Controls will become a part of the Building Technologies Division of Siemens Industry, Inc. The Site Controls portfolio will enhance Siemens’ product and solutions offerings and drive Building Technologies’ leadership in retail and commercial markets, including big box retailers, fitness clubs, convenience stores and restaurants. Site Controls also brings extensive experience in Smart Consumption and an innovative offering in Smart Grid. The combined portfolio of Site Controls, Building Technologies and the Energy Sector of Siemens is expected to provide a leading offering for the Smart Consumption/Smart Grid market.

A date has not yet been determined for this acquisition to be final, as the consummation of this acquisition is subject to U.S. antitrust review and approval.
