(The Dominion Post - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- WVU is continuing its green efforts and in doing so, is theoretically removing the equivalent of the emissions from 4,500 vehicles out of the atmosphere.
The university is moving into the next phase of its energy audit and plans $9.5 million in spending to help its buildings become more eco-friendly.
WVU signed performance-based contracts with Siemens Building Technologies in 2006.
