Siemens Acquires Advanced Telemetry’s Technology

Siemens Industry, Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire substantially all of Advanced Telemetry, LLC’s assets. Advanced Telemetry, LLC, is a company based in San Diego, California that offers an end-to-end energy management solution for retail and commercial businesses.

Advanced Telemetry’s assets will become a part of the Building Technologies Division of Siemens Industry, Inc. Advanced Telemetry’s assets will enhance Siemens’ product and solutions offerings and expand Building Technologies’ reach into new vertical markets,including quick-serve and full-serve restaurants. Advanced Telemetry has a state of the art wireless energy management system. As the energy market continues to grow, BT needs to take advantage of this capability, for retail and commercial vertical markets.
