Requirements

The building owners wanted an integrated solution for control, monitoring, and reduction of energy consumption for the the heating, sanitation, and electrical systems, as well as control and monitoring of the building management system.

Solution

Siemens created a customized Total Building Solution for building automation, power distribution, fire protection, and security, including alarm management, logs, schedulers, and remote access. The building management system is easy to operate, thanks to a graphical user interface. Security is ensured by an intelligent video surveillance and access control system. The systems of other providers are also integrated.

If a situation is judged as critical, the building management system identifies the affected spaces with alarm pop-ups. The responsible personnel receive immediate notification via SMS, allowing action to be taken quickly. The building management system monitors the energy consumption for every main distribution board and generates constant reporting. The log viewer shows the events and activities of the users in chronological order in the database.
