The communicating room thermostat RDF800KN supports a wide range of applications for fan coils, heating/cooling systems and heat pumps and can easily be integrated even in existing building automation systems – thanks to a KNX-interface. The basic functions include automatic or manual changeover between heating and cooling, automatic or manual fan control and limiting of room temperature set points. The room thermostat can be controlled intuitively via touch screen and dedicated control-symbols.

RDF – room thermostats with large LCD

The digital RDF.. room thermostats are tailored for 2-pipe, 2-pipe plus electric heater and 4-pipe fan coil applications with automatic heat/cool changeover. The desired room temperature is selected via push buttons on the front of the thermostat.

Typical use

  • For control of the room temperature in individual rooms that are heated or cooled with 2-pipe fan coil units

  • For the control of rooms that are cooled with DX type equipment

  • For opening or closing a valve and for switching a 3-speed fan

RDG..

RDG.. – room thermostats with large LCD

The RDG.. room thermostats are very versatile. Thanks to their large display and intuitive operating concept with setting knob and large buttons, the units are extremely user-friendly and the backlit display even allows the unit to be operated in the dark. The required application can simply be selected via DIP switches before mounting the unit. The RDG.. uses for the room temperature control either a 2-position, P or PI algorithm.

Typical use

  • Control of chilled or heated ceiling with electrical heater, radiator or floor heating

  • 2-stage heating or cooling applications

  • Additional function like remote temperature sensing for return air control, operating mode switchover to command energy saving mode, floor temperature limitation, dew point monitoring etc.
