Efficiency – Staff productivity
Basically, for the hotels engineering and maintenance staff, the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a large hotel is time-consuming. Therefore, one of the striking advantages of Integrated Building Solutions (TBS) is the complete harmonization of the hotel’s HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), fire, intrusion and CCTV (closed-circuit television) systems. The integration of all of these disciplines means improved functionality for the hotel, and centralized display of all building information at the touch of a button. Furthermore, TBS also includes voice evacuation capabilities and controls for the hotel’s phone system, guest services and background music. In total, the integrated TBS reduced significantly the workload of all involved maintenance staff.
Profitability – Guest experience
All of the 380 luxuriously furnished rooms and suites contain Desigo RX room controllers to manage air conditioning units and maintain precise room conditions for the guests. All controllers are networked to the main HVAC plant and are also interlinked with the hotel’s front desk booking system. In this way, every guest room is controlled according to occupancy and guest preferences, which guarantees a consistent guest experience.
