Siemens Building Technologies continued its profitablegrowth in the past fiscal year. Profit once again showed a significant improvement.

Building Technologies posted total revenue of 5.062 billion euros, an increase of 266 million euros (+6.0%) compared with the previous year. All divisions contributed to this growth. Due to the systematic selection of highly profitable projects, the increase in neworders was modest: 5.350 billion euros compared to 5.235 billion euros in the 2006 fiscal year (+2.0%).

The positive trend in profitability has continued: Group profit of 354 million euros was 131 million euros or 58.7% higher than in the previous year. The profit margin therefore improved from 4.6% to 7.0%.
