In the fiscal year 2012, new orders rose by 4 percent from 5.597 billion euros in the previous year to 5.809 billion euros (comparable basis: 0 percent). Revenue increased by 6 percent from 5.468 billion euros to 5.820 billion euros (comparable basis: +3 percent). Building Technologies’ profit climbed from 364 to 379 million euros (+4 percent). At 6.5 percent, the profit margin was slightly lower than in the previous year (6.7 percent).
